About the Host

Cassandra Washington knows exactly what it feels like to stand at the front of a classroom and lead a school while running on empty. With 28 years of experience in the heart of the education system, Cassandra realized that while educators and public servants are masters of caring for others, they are often left without the tools to care for their own physical well-being.

Founded on the belief that a regulated educator creates a regulated classroom, school, or organization, Educate and Exhale was born. Cassandra created this space to move beyond “bubble bath self-care” and dive into the real work of nervous system health.

“We aren’t just serving; we are co-regulating with our students, clients, and patrons every day. To do that well, we must first learn how to come home to ourselves.”

Cassandra’s mission is to provide resources, support, and professional development to educators about prioritizing health, wellness, and balance.
